Random May'11

We had a great accomplishment this month! DJ has been in swim lessons for 5 sessions and earned his first level ribbon! He had to do 10 head bobs...so putting his entire head under water....of course the night this happened i was stuck in a meeting at work but got there just in time to see him do one of them! He was so proud of himself and excited to ring the bell and get his ribbon! Next they have to learn to float on their back and tummy by themselves. It's just so nice to see him excited to get in the pool and liking the water!

We took DJ to ride his bike to the baseball field one warm evening after work and he hit a few balls and ran the bases before the sun went down :)

Silly boy...he's been loving these goggles lately...and randomly paired w/ his mickey ears this day!

Poor kid kept putting on this cheapy army like helmet that would never stay on his head...so Daddy took him to target and got him a real baseball helmet...shockingly it was only $9! :) He loooves this thing...wears it constantly! Even to make eggs for breakfast today. He has to wear it in the car on drives too but thankfully takes it off when we have to get out!

And then yes we let him hit balls (SOFT) in our house....yes this is not a good habit or parenting..haa! We have stated that he can ONLY do this in our house and not others..hoping he remembers! Luckily we have the room and no breakables in the front room! He had to get the batting gloves on and put one in his back pocket too..haa! He's so darn CUTE!
