DJ's 17 Months

I can't believe my little man is growing up soo fast. He's babbling constantly and i sooo wish i knew what he was trying to tell me. He will look at me like "don't u know what i said" and i wish i did. He has really gotten into animals for some reason lately and gets sooo excited to see them in person and on TV, and even with our own cats. He use to never want to look at the TV or only to listen to the theme songs of Backyardagins, but now he likes the show and also Wonder Pets. And especially the Baby Einsteins Animals. He just loves the music and dances watching it. Unfortunately the Wonder Pets song has been permanently implanted in daddy's brain and he can't seem to stop singing it around the house. DJ also LOOOVES for us to sing the ABC's song..not sure why, must be from school. He gets soo excited about shoes, books and his milk or water for some reason. And he ALWAYS has to hold both mine and damon's hand when walking pretty much anywhere even in the house to his room for bath or bed, he just gets the biggest smile on his face. He seems to have lost his "attitude" since the last update thankfully and likes his carseat again :)

I recently went and bought a potty for DJ to get use to, This one is actually a potty and a stool. So of course when i pulled it out of the box DJ thought it was a new "toy". But we showed him how to pull it up to the couch and step up. But also to open and sit (not stand on that part..hee). He's interested on and off...i'm hoping for an early potty trainee! But he could care less if he needs a change or not at this point. Anyways..damon took these pics of him sitting on the pot and i thought they were soo funny...

And here's a cute one of DJ in his spiffy shirt from Grandma and carrying boxes, his FAVORITE! Again always jabbering somthing to me to do with them or what he's doing with them..hee
