We took Friday off and drove up to Eagle Lake for Memorial weekend! This is DJ enjoying his lunch half way through the drive on the back of the boat!
DJ did pretty well on the drive up, but i think he is now done with his car seat as he was not happy when he had to get back in it after our stops.The guys had a fun time fishing, but it was opening week so it was crowded and they didn't catch as many as we had hope and usually do during the fall season. But we had yummy food and fun walks. DJ had a few bites of trout and would not stop asking for "Mo, mo, mo"..
haa...he ate half of a fish to himself! (you can see the hand signal in this
picture also). We finally had to tell him it was all gone! DJ got to go on his second boat ride also. He didn't cry, but didn't show much emotion either..
heee! I don't know when someone is going to smarten up and design a life jacket that actually fits these little guys and doesn't dig into their faces. But it was a fun weekend..we were happy to get away but happier to be home..hee!
