Here's a couple fun pictures from daycare recently! (sorry they are so big..i wasn't able to download off the website but had to put the HTML code in the update)
DJ has been saying Yes/No all the time lately when we ask him questions...it's so fun and cute to have him actually respond with words! He's saying dadda, dadda, dadda pretty much constantly. Still no Mama (to my face that is...but damon swears he says it when i'm not in the room)....he says maaaaaa maaa maaa...but honestly i think it's more of his default for everything not me..hee!
So far so good..he's still a great sleeper ~7pm-7am and one 2-3hr nap....eating great (even his veggies).....blueberries and cheese are probably his all time winners and cheerios! Poor kid still only gets water/milk to drink (which he loves thankfully), with the special exception of juice at school for special snacks!
He is loving to throw balls and play with his golf clubs. He still really likes books although it's harder and harder to read them to him with out him taking them from us! He gets VERY excited every time he sees an animal whether it's on the TV or out and about. I was putting him the car the other day and he started freaking out (excitedly)..i look up and there's a dog in the car next to us..i pretty much know now just by the tone of his freak out that it's because of an animal..hee Although he doesn't seem too much into our cats....i think it's dogs for now. Noo we are not getting a dog (yet!) :) He makes the cutest "quack" noise when we ask him what a duck says. He even started quacking when daddy turned the page of a book which had a duckling on it yet daddy thought it was a chick..."are you smarter than an 18mo old"? He loooooves to "help" mom do EVERYTHING..it's cute and sometimes not...and loves to open/shut doors (to buildings, the car, the fridge, the dishwasher!)
We are definitely blessed and every day is more fun than the next!
