July already...

We had a fun 4th of July in Redding with the Family. DJ got to spend some fun time with his cousins of which Taylor is such a great "entertainer" during diaper changes and holding hands with DJ! He got to go in a cool inflatable pool that had a slide which he wanted "mo, mo, mo" of! DJ also go to see his Gamma and Gampa up for a visit from Southern California! He was a crab the entire way to Redding (with mommy in the back seat) and then all happy and smiles on the way back with his entertainment in the backseat with him (Gamma and Gampa)!

We have started to put DJ in time out (throwing toys he's not suppose to, crawling up the slide and screaming shrieks, (that of course he thinks all of these are funny and stares right at us as he does it again after we gave him his warning..heee). He's soo funny, he actually stays in the spot (go figure...probably not for long) but screams his little head off. Then some how turns off like a light switch when i go to him and remind him why he's in time out and to tell me he's sorry (i need to find the hand sign for that one) and then to give me a hug/kiss :)

DJ was sent home sick last week w/ a fever of 103 and of course i was in Santa Clara for work, but daddy to the rescue! They went to the doc to make sure all was ok and apparently there was/is a virus going around w/ a fever lasting a few days. Luckily he stayed home his 24hrs and was good to go. But they weighed our little man and he was a whopping ~31lbs..crazy! Yess i have actually bought a few 3T shirts so he has room to grow!

This past weekend was nice...DJ got to play with his other cousin Hailey over at Me-ma's house. Funny how the simplest things entertain them....we had a watering pot filled w/ water and they both took turns scooping water out of it with measuring cups. Then on Sunday we went and cheered Daddy on for his baseball game which he WON and even hit a double with a wooden bat!
