Christmas 2010

Lets see...lots of pics and lots going on! DJ had to help me decorate our Christmas Tree! Of course there were lots of ornaments just on the bottom! :)

Then DJ got to visited Santa! Intel had Santa visiting and we went to see him w/ DJ's friends Brooke and Brandon. DJ did great with Santa....he didn't want to let go of my fingers initially but didn't cry at least this year! He told Santa he wanted a Big Green Truck and an Elmo Toy! Then Santa gave him a candy cane...his first ever eaten actually...so after that every time you asked DJ what he wanted from Santa he would say "Candy Cane"..haa! I don't think he really "got it" all about Santa this year yet but it was fun having him get excited for Santa to come and bring presents. We also read every night practically a pop up book, The Christmas Story which he LOVED seeing baby Jesus in! He knows Christmas Day is Jesus' birthday!

Santa did come through our neighborhood but was more like a flash of lightening speeding through..ohh well thankfully he didn't seem to know what was really going on anyways! DJ loved to drive through neighborhoods and look at the lights on the houses too this year!

Me-ma baked cookies with the kiddos! Hailey and DJ had a lot of fun! They were more into this year and loved decorating the cookies!

Ryan and Erin :) Not sure if i posted...but they had broken up just before Thanksgiving and we were just DEVASTATED and then got back together a couple weeks after THANKFULLY! :) we LOVE her! :)
Christmas Eve was at our house, which has become the tradition. Damon made his delicious chicken and dumplings! We had a packed house with Damon's mom, Hailey and also Dave's kids Heidi and Doug and their husband/girlfriend for Christmas this year. It was so fun! Christmas Eve was Hailey's night with us so Santa came early for her after we got back from Church. Her favorite was the Multi pack of Barbies of course! DJ got to open a few presents also, but especially loved his Elmo PJ's!

Christmas Day DJ opened all his presents with all the grandparents attending! He was spoiled rotten of course...he got Trains, Guitar, remote cars, Handy Manny, Books, Clothes and of course his big Green Truck and Elmo toy! He even got his first Table/Chairs set that he can color on with chalk! We spent the rest of the day at my mom's house with delicious home made cinnamon rolls and mimosa's and a yummy dinner too! Ryan and his girlfriend Erin came also!

He loved opening presents this year....kept saying he wanted to open another then after a few he wanted to open and play with them but we had to keep him moving! He even opened Mommy and Daddy's presents too!

We took DJ to the snow during Grandma's visit! The snow was unfortunately too soft to build our own snowman but DJ had fun piling up snowballs into his sled! We went for a few sled rides down the big hill too, until it got a little too bumpy!
