Valentines Day '12

I woke up on Valentines day to a bouquet of roses from my wonderful hubby! Unfortunately he had to go out to town for work so we didn't get to spend the evening together BUT i had some very sweet friends invite us over for dinner and the kidos got to play. We are going to celebrate Friday night :)










DJ wrote out his Valentine's this year.....he picked Hot Wheels invitations and ring pops! The teachers all got chocolate!










DJ got spoiled of course with his own goodies.....he especially loved his cards in the mail from Grandma that also had "Five Monies" in it as he calls it....or $5 bills for him and Miles :)

More goody bags from Grandma....DJ loved his alligator card and pencil with sharpener! Miles got a cute new bib and book! :)

DJ's first tattoo's EVER...i have stayed away from putting these on as they never seem to fully come off of most kids..but oh well. :) He got them in his goodie bag from Hailey's party so wanted to try them. Then we somehow got into a conversation that these are pretend not real and that he is not allowed to ever get a real one..haa! I think i need to save that conversation for later....but these are fun since they come off :)

DJ had a friendship party at School that the parents were invited too! Here's the entire class after handing out their valentines!

Then they had 3 stations for the kids to make stuff...here they were making candy bracelets.....DJ of course had to pick all the green gummy lifesavors!

Miles just hung out and watched all the kids! :)

Then they made candy necklaces...this was so cool...they laid out saran wrap and then placed candy they picked out in a line in the middle...then wrapped it up and tied each section off w/ ribbon...very creative!
