wow Easter had a lot of pictures....it started last weekend we visited the Easter bunny for the very first time...DJ didn't flinch and neither did Miles :) Kind of a scary bunny but they didn't know the difference :) Then we colored eggs...funny i tried to find clothes of DJ's that i cared the least about getting dye on them...it was his favorite shirt and not the best for pics but oh well :) of course he didn't get any on him. He had fun dipping them and checking if they were ready! The dye box had a glitter paint to put on...he was over it after the first few eggs...haa! We definitely need to find the faces to make/paint on the eggs for next year.
DJ had to do an Egg Experiment at school for his home work last week. Basically come up w/ a contraption that you could put an egg in and drop it from a high point and hopefully it won't break. Damon found this cool idea to cut a whole out of a Nerf ball....it was quick and simple....and the egg didn't break..yeah! :)

The next weekend we went to the local Egg Extravaganza...we usually go every year for the hunt but went a little earlier this year to check out the vender booths. The weather was perfect and it was so fun to just take our time and hang out and check everything out. They had little quick games at some booths for the kids to play.

At home DJ went to get the mail and had a "surprise" (aka mail key for the big box and big package)....from Grandma! He had so much fun opening each egg...and was very excited to get quarters and dollar bills along w/ the chocolate and socks for Miles....kept saying he was soo rich..haa!
Easter bunny came! i of course bought WAYYY too much stuff throughout the past few months so had to leave some stuff out...luckily only had one piece of candy...gotta have a chocolate bunny! Then i would have preferred not to get Miles anything (as he needs nothing) but DJ might suspect so he got a few new toys too!

After we got ready for church...Miles decided to sleep extra long so daddy had to stay home but the rest of us went and enjoyed a fabulous sermon! For some reason this year it has really hit me what Easter is all about...the Resurrection of Jesus Christ...it is quite an amazing event! I really want to celebrate this just like we do at Christmas and make sure DJ really knows what these holiday's are REALLY about but still have the childhood fun!

Egg Hunt! They each had 2 colors of eggs to find and then there was a gold and silver one...hailey found the gold first and then told DJ he had to find the silver one....they would go around pointing out each other's colors eggs and DJ even had to smack one out of a tree for her....it was so funny watching them both try to get it out!

LOL this was soo cute....we were practicing our rolling over and he got fussy so i gave him his paci and next thing i know he was zoning and passed out...DJ and damon were throwing the bouncy ball back and forth all around him and he slept right through it...then woke up 30min later like clock work for his 7pm feeding :)
We had such a great weekend and feel soo blessed!
