Eagle Lake

Well we made the long trip to Eagle Lake yet again this Labor Day Weekend. Luckily DJ did a lot better on the drive and during the stay. He wanted to "help" constantly and was a big helper putting food away and unloading/loading the car, helping package the fish the guys caught. We went on long walks...of which poor DJ got a combo of sunburn and windburn on his little cheeks :( DJ got to see deer and pelicans and went for another boat ride of which he's getting more comfortable with. His life jacket was even easier to zip up this trip...the belly must be shrinking! DJ also got to try out his new "bed" aka toddler travel air mattress. He has out grown his pac'n play so this was the next thing to try. We had it set up on the floor between our bed and the wall of which he did hit a few times in the night so he probably would have rolled off it, it is crazy how much he rolls around back and forth at night.
