Weekend Relaxation

ahhhhh 3 day weekends..i wish we had them every week! We had absolutely NO plans this weekend and enjoyed every moment! Saturday was Mommy sleep in day...and Daddy took DJ to the driving range, then out shopping in the afternoon, so really I got an entire free day...KUDOS to Daddy! Sunday was Daddy sleep in day, since he didn't have baseball, and Mommy took DJ to the Park and for a Looooong Bike Ride. DJ came back and slept for 2hrs..woo hoo! He takes regular 2hr naps at school but at home it's usually 30-60min! Daddy took DJ out for "juice"..aka Jamba Juice, which DJ thinks is the biggest treat and poor kid, all it is is blended strawberries..but hey, whatever works..he loves it and is a fun treat for him! Then we went out for burgers at Relish to visit Ryan.

Monday we took DJ to the Railroad Museum which he LOVED to see the trains and going in them. He especially loved the kids floor with the automatic trains. Then we got to ride the real train along the river. It was actually the Jazz Festival weekend too, so there was lots going on in Old Sac. On the way out a policeman on his horse came over and DJ got to see it up close but didn't want to pet it :) Most of the way home he kept saying he wanted to ride the train again and see the horse :) Then he crashed in the car for a late nap and slept another 2hrs..woo hoo!
