Sara's 31st Birthday

No more birthdays :) I've always been a HUGE fan of bdays and making a big deal (especially of others) i think this bday milestone was a lot tougher than last year...strangely there is some mental thing of being "over" 30 for me...now it seems bdays aren't a big deal.. i guess i now know why my friends aren't excited for theirs as most of our friends are older than me. But i'm officially 31 now and had a fun weekend! I missed my hubby but my family and friends made it a lot of fun!

Saturday DJ and i went to our free pass class for him at My Gym with his friends Brandon and Brooke. He had fun once he warmed up but still was kinda shy! Then went to donuts w/ the gang and he had a few bites of mommies.

Here's Mr balance apparently...poor kid i always thought he really isn't very graceful with his coordination...but maybe he's getting the hang of it :)

Here's Brandon and DJ enjoying an airplane swing (i guess)..DJ seemed wayy to big for it!That night we went to the Bistro (where Ryan works) for a DELICIOUS dinner..i had Escolar in a decadent sauce for my main course and Gnocchi as a starter and Creme Brulee for desert! DJ did fabulous as Pop-pop shared his Duck Confit with him and DJ loved saying it too!

Sunday we made our way up to Sierra Ski resort....pulled DJ a bit in the snow on his sled and then went for Sled rides down a hill...such a rip off to pay $5 per person but oh well, it's all about the experience. Then after lunch Mema watched DJ and Dave and I went boarding for the afternoon. The snow was PERFECT and the weather too! It was soo fun to go again, as it seems i get about once a season now a days. Here's a few shot of of our fun in the snow!
All in all it was a great bday weekend!
