Friday night i went out with some Girlfriends to dinner and to see the DAUGHTRY concert..which Lifhouse opened for them and in my mind was actually better than the final act. It was still a fun concert and nice to hang out.
Saturday DJ and daddy came home with gorgeous Roses and let me get out of the house again for a girls night of dinner and a movie!
Sunday i got to sleep in, although lucky for daddy, out of no where DJ slept til 9am vs. his very consistent 7am...but it worked out good as we had a late lunch at the BISTRO and had a delicious meal with my two favorite guys! Unfortunately i didn't get to see my mom or grandma as my mom was in LA and my grandmother was on lock down at her residents because of a recent bug that was going through the home. Then to top it off Ryan is no longer working at the Bistro so it was a quiet lunch, but DJ kept it entertaining given his recent defiant mood lately :) He has been pushing the buttons for sure and in timeouts several times a day lately :( We topped out the day with a bike ride and visit to a new park. But all in all it was a great Mother's day and I'm so grateful to be a Mother and get to experience the joys and unconditional love it brings!
