DJ showed Grandma how he can write his numbers and spell them too! Miles has discovered his hand/fingers and that they can make it to his mouth...i'm hoping to deter the thumb sucking but not sure i will! :)
Daddy and his boys! DJ is so cute checking up on his brother..he ALWAYS asks about Miles and where he is if he comes into a room and he's not there. Always tells me if he spits up or is crying..haa.
'Happy boy...finally we can get him to smile pretty regularly...usually by the time i get my camera though he will stop!
Christmas Eve...we went to Church and DJ was excited to go to his class. Miles did pretty good for the service except the last half hour was his meal time so the last 15min or so daddy had to take him out :) Then we went home w/ the family and damon had made his traditional Chicken and Dumplings..yumm! Then we watched Polar Express and had popcorn before bed.
Christmas morning...Miles woke up before DJ and i was down stairs...then i hear DJ come across the hall upstairs and say "Santa came"...it was soo cute! He ran and woke up damon and then ran downstairs. There were TOO many pics..but these were some cute ones. Me-ma and Pop-pop came over to watch DJ open presents...it's so nice having them so close! DJ loved his new card games and card holder and then his Cars pillow pet and slippers were big winners! Another goodie he got was a quad remote control car that he runs through the house constantly and he got his first video game, a leap pad...it really has some fun educational games and drawing ones too..he loves to play and is picking it up pretty quickly.
Miles was happy too! :) DJ got a new bike since he is outgrowing yet another...this one will hopefully last him for awhile. We took the training wheels off his other bike and will keep practicing!
After presents we went over to my mom's for home made cinnamon rolls and mimosa's...the kidos opened presents AGAIN...Hailey was there all day which was a great treat! Later we had delicious steak and salmon for dinner! Then for dessert a birthday cake for Jesus!
Pop-pop wanted a pillow pet too! Ryan was excited about his chief jersey! DJ's face was too cute..all it was was a Toy Story fork/spoon set..haa!
We had a great Christmas and feel so blessed to have such a great family and we of coursed missed all of the family that wasn't with us too!
Hailey loooved her barbie stuff and jewelry! Ryan was so cute and had an entire box filled w/ individually wrapped necklaces, bracelets, rings for her...she was so excited to see what each one was.
Here was DJ about to blow out the candle on Jesus' birthday cake which unfortunately is very blurry!
The next day Ryan got Hailey outside using her new softball gear...she was a little apprehensive at first but really did a GREAT job hitting the ball and throwing...all of it was pink of course too! It's so fun watching the cousins play together. Then they took a break drinking some hot chocolate
